Walnut Brownie

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 ½ cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup butter
½ cups chopped walnuts
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
½ cup milk

Method

Sift flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together and keep aside.
Gently mix sugar and butter together in a bowl till the mixture is soft and creamy.
Now one by one add the eggs to this mixture and keep on mixing it clockwise with the help of a fork while also moving the fork up and down to incorporate maximum air into the mixture.
Now add the flour spoon by spoon into this mixture and keep on mixing it.
In the last remaining spoon of flour add the chopped walnuts and add it in the  batter and again mix it well.
This batter should be of pouring consistency.
If it is thicker than expected, a little milk can be added to it while mixing flour.
Pour this batter into a microwave safe, greased dish and microwave it for about 12 minutes.
Test it with a toothpick; if it comes out cleanly, then the cake is done.  If not, then microwave it again for 2 minutes more.
Remove from microwave and let it cool.
The Walnut Brownie is ready to be served and enjoyed.
