250 gm Bengal gram flour (Normal grinded)
250 gm Bengal gram flour (little coarsely grinded)
300 gm pure ghee (Clarified butter)
½ teaspoon cardamom powder
400 gm bura sugar or powdered sugar
Method
Melt ghee in heavy bottom Kadhai or wok.
Add Bengal gram flour (besan) to it. Mix it well.
Cook it over slow flame and continuously keep stirring it so that no lumps are found and whole besan gets cooked evenly.
This process takes about 30 minutes.
Once it gets cooked, ghee starts separating and the mixture starts spreading a very pleasant smell.
Let the mixture cool completely.
Add bura/sugar powder and cardamom powder to it and mix it well.
Make small balls out of this mixture by pressing it by your palm.
