1 cup strawberries, finely chopped
1 cup strawberries, made into puree
2 cups hung curd or Greek curd
1 cup sugar
Few drop of strawberry essence.
Method
In a nonstick pan take strawberry puree and add a tablespoon of sugar to it.
Heat it over a slow flame. Keep stirring it.
It will take about 15 minute. A very nice fruity flavor will fill the house and the sauce will become half in quantity. This will be the strawberry sauce.
Beat the curd in a bowl till it becomes smooth in texture.
Add the remaining sugar to it and mix it well.
Add strawberry sauce (keep aside 1 tablespoon for garnishing) and finely chopped strawberry (keep aside few pieces for garnishing) and mix it well.
Pour the shrikhand in a bowl.
Garnish it with the remaining strawberry sauce and chopped strawberries.
Keep it in the refrigerator.
Served it chilled as a dessert.
