Strawberry ke pede


Ingredients

2 cup strawberries, made into puree
2 cup full-cream milk
2 cup milk powder
1 cup sugar
Few drops of strawberry essence
1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter)

Method

In a nonstick pan take strawberry puree and add a tablespoon of sugar to it.
Heat it over a slow flame. Keep stirring it.
It will take about 15 minutes.  A very nice fruity flavor scent will start coming from the sauce and the content will become half in quantity.
This will be the strawberry sauce.

In a nonstick Kadhai/wok take the milk and mix milk powder in it.
Cook on a slow flame. Keep stirring it.
In about 15 minutes the mixture will reduce in volume and turn into a soft dough.
Now add sugar, strawberry sauce and ghee to it and again cook it for about 10-15 minutes. Keep stirring it.
The dough will start leaving ghee. 
Remove from flame.
Now add strawberry flavor to it and mix it well.

Cool it at room temperature.
Make small balls out of it and press them little with your palm.
Store it in refrigerator.
